Job summary

Best Buy’s Geek Squad Agent role in Lake Geneva, WI invites you to be the first point of contact for customers seeking technology help, guidance and solutions for computers and devices in-store. You’ll receive training and resources to assess needs, perform basic services and collaborate with other agents on more complex repairs.

You’ll learn to set up new devices, explain repair vs. replacement options, and provide accurate time estimates while keeping customers informed of status and next

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience in retail or customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during the check-in and checkout process.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening, asking follow-up questions, taking detailed notes and providing accurate time estimates for next steps.
• Help customers set up new devices and provide advice on whether to repair or replace old devices.
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge and skillsets through certified training courses.
• Clearly communicate and partner with fellow agents.
