Mee Derby & Company in New York is seeking a Director of Business Development to lead our Technology/Engineering staffing desk. You will personally win direct client relationships, drive job orders, and place candidates while mentoring 1–3 BDMs.

This player/coach role emphasizes execution over strategy, leveraging an established operating system to hit KPIs, manage margins, and expand our direct-hire and contract staffing business.

Formación

• Proven success in staffing agency business development with contract staffing.
• Track record of winning direct-to-client business (MSP/VMS exposure helpful).
• Comfort being boots on the ground: sourcing/creating new client relationships, client visits, and closing deals.

Responsabilidades

• Win new direct client relationships for Technology/Engineering staffing services.
• Drive and close job orders; build a strong, repeatable pipeline.
• Sell contract staffing and/or a mix of contract + direct hire solutions.
• Confidently handle contract staffing economics: bill/pay rates, markup/gross margin.
