Job summary

Linder Industrial Machinery Company in Virginia is seeking a field-based specialist to support the sales process by demonstrating Komatsu equipment technology to customers and internal teams. This position features a sales commission structure.

You will coordinate grade control demonstrations with the sales force, train customers, provide product support, manage inventory, and liaise with GPS manufacturers and Topcon dealers to ensure smooth sales and post-sale service.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to learn heavy equipment operation.
• Knowledge of precision GPS products.
• Basic understanding of networks, systems, and software.
• Experience with land/construction surveying preferred.
• Experience with surveying equipment.
• Strong construction knowledge and experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate grade control demonstrations with the sales force.
• Demonstrate technology value to customers.
• Communicate with the GPS manufacturer.
• Provide product support and training during the sales process.
• Continue support after equipment sale.
• Manage machine control product inventory.
• Manage grade control sales and rental activities.
• Provide basic tech troubleshooting to company technicians.
• Facilitate communication between customer, Komatsu, and local Topcon dealer.
• Perform other duties as requested by manager.
