Job summary

Shift Group is partnering with a cybersecurity startup to recruit a Sales Development Representative (Former Athletes & Veterans) in the Boston area. You will drive new business through aggressive cold calling and outbound outreach from day one.

You will own the hunt, qualify prospects, and book meetings for Account Executives, while keeping CRM data clean in Salesforce and HubSpot. The role offers a base salary of $70,000 with a $110,000 OTE in year one.

Qualifications

• Former college, professional, or Olympic athlete, or military veteran.
• High energy, fierce competitive drive, and an uncompromising work ethic.
• Highly coachable with openness to feedback and improvement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• 0–2 years of SDR, acquisitions, or customer-facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the hunt: drive new business via cold calling, email, and LinkedIn outreach.
• Qualify prospects and book meetings for Account Executives.
• Keep CRM data razor-sharp in Salesforce and HubSpot; leverage AI sales tools.
• Hit meeting quotas and consistently track performance metrics.
