Job summary

Ally Financial is seeking a Recruiter to partner with HR Business Partners and Hiring Managers to execute strategic recruiting plans for advanced/specialized roles. This hybrid role will involve sourcing, screening, interviewing, and influencing managers to attract top talent for Ally.

You will stay current with industry trends, build diverse candidate slates, and contribute to continuous process improvements while reporting to the Director or Manager within Talent Acquisition.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full cycle recruiting experience, including vendor or corporate recruiting.
• Experience in technical recruiting.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in HR or related field.
• PHR recommended.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to navigate within the team and across lines of business.
• Regularly exhibits a strong work ethic and high degree of self-motivation.
• Decision making and negotiation experience.
• Knowledge of sourcing techniques including Boolean queries.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Partner with Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners to identify hiring needs and workforce planning strategies.
• Manage end-to-end recruiting life cycle activities including requisition management in ATS, sourcing and screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and extending offers.
• Assist with background checks and reporting data.
• Build applicant pools and develop networking opportunities.
• Conduct screening interviews to deliver a diverse and qualified candidate slate.
• Maintain data integrity in the ATS and candidate status.
• Develop passive candidate pipelines aligned to business objectives.
• Participate in Talent Acquisition project initiatives and process improvements.
