Job summary

Instrumental is building the manufacturing acceleration platform and seeks a recruiter who closes searches others give up on, partnering directly with founders, executives, and hiring managers to raise the bar on how we hire.

You will own full-cycle recruiting for hard-to-fill technical and business roles, push back on unclear rubrics, and continuously improve sourcing with AI tools to raise the bar across the org.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a full-cycle technical recruiter at a fast-growing company (<100 people).
• A track record of closing difficult-to-fill engineering or technical searches — not just staffing easier roles well.
• Strong sourcing skills and real comfort engaging passive candidates.
• Evidence that hiring managers and leaders trusted your judgment — references or examples that speak to this are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Close the searches that matter most. Own full-cycle recruiting for our hardest technical and business roles.
• Make hiring managers better at hiring by challenging vague rubrics and testing assumptions.
• Move fast without creating friction, iterating strategy mid-search while keeping teams aligned.
• Build the recruiting function as you go, improving sourcing and candidate experience using AI tools.
