Job summary

Allocate is hiring its first dedicated, in-house technical recruiter to own the full cycle for engineering, product, and design. You will partner directly with founders, the CTO, and engineering leaders to translate hiring needs into structured processes across teams and build scalable recruiting operations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in talent acquisition with ownership of recruiting across engineering, product, data/research, design.
• Experience designing and deploying structured interviewing frameworks from scratch.
• Proven outbound sourcing for hard-to-find candidates and market mapping.
• Experience evaluating AI-powered sourcing tools and expanding lean recruiting teams.
• Comfort coordinating external recruiting partners alongside internal pipelines.
• Track record building employer branding and proactive candidate pipelines.
• Knowledge of scalable talent operations, workflows and reporting.
• Ability to operate as a function of one in an early-stage environment.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting across engineering, product, and design—from scope to close.
• Design structured interview processes, guides, question banks, and scorecards.
• Coach hiring managers to improve interview quality and consistency.
• Manage external recruiting partners and agencies as needed.
• Own advanced outbound sourcing and access passive candidates.
• Build sourcing strategy and evaluate AI-powered tools to boost efficiency.
• Shape Allocate’s talent/employer brand and candidate materials.
• Collaborate with the People team to optimize workflows and reporting.
• Champion inclusive, high-integrity hiring throughout the process.
