Job summary

Harris, one of the country’s leading mechanical contractors, is seeking a Recruiter who thrives on the hunt for top talent and building strong relationships with hiring leaders. You will own the full recruiting lifecycle across technical and hard-to-fill roles, proactively source passive candidates, and build pipelines for future needs.

You will leverage AI-enabled tools to source and engage talent while maintaining human judgment, and you’ll partner with business leaders to understand market

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive recruiting experience in technical, specialized, professional, or difficult-to-fill roles.
• 4+ years of experience with recruiting technology including applicant tracking systems, sourcing platforms, and candidate databases.
• 3+ years of proactively sourcing and engaging passive talent through direct outreach, networks, referrals, resume databases, and other sourcing approaches.
• 2+ years of building talent pipelines for recurring, specialized, or difficult-to-fill positions.
• Strong consultative and relationship-building skills across organizational levels.
• Experience using labor-market information to guide sourcing strategies and advise hiring leaders.
• Ability to manage a high volume of requisitions and competing priorities with clear communication.
• Comfort using AI-enabled recruiting tools while maintaining human judgment.
• A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Marketing, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Own the recruiting process from intake through offer by partnering with hiring leaders.
• Proactively identify and engage active and passive candidates through direct outreach, referrals, and networks.
• Build and maintain pipelines for critical, recurring, and hard-to-fill positions while expanding reach through networks and partnerships.
• Use AI-enabled tools to enhance sourcing, candidate engagement, market research, and communication while preserving human oversight.
• Act as a trusted talent partner to help leaders understand market conditions and sourcing options.
• Help tell Harris’s story by collaborating with Recruiting, Marketing, and Human Capital to promote culture and opportunities.
