Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal seeks a Manager for Software Product and Tech Diligence within its Private Equity Performance Improvement practice. You will conduct pre- and post-acquisition due diligence, assess product features, technology architecture, IP, and open source, and help drive value creation across deals with PE clients.

Responsibilities include leading data collection, conducting rigorous analyses, delivering client-ready insights, and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Exemplary oral and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and data-gathering abilities.
• Ability to translate tech insights into commercial implications.
• Willingness to travel at least 75% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Conduct software product and technology due diligence for target organizations.
• Manage data request lists and client interactions.
• Analyze quantitative and qualitative data and present client-ready findings.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff and contribute to engagements across buy-side / sell-side activities.
