Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a seasoned manager to lead software product and technology due diligence for private equity clients. You will evaluate product roadmaps, architecture, IP usage, and R&D processes while coordinating with bankers and clients.

You will interact with senior client stakeholders, manage data requests, and deliver client-ready analyses. The role requires travel and a background in software development or advisory at top-tier firms.

• Track record of collaborating with business leaders and private equity deal staff.
• Background in software/product development or advisory in top-tier firms.

Responsibilities

• Conduct software product and technology due diligence assessments for private equity clients.
• Assess product features, architecture, IP, and R&D processes.
• Lead interviews, manage data requests, and summarize insights into client-ready exhibits.
• Supervise junior staff and ensure deliverable quality and client relationships.
• Engage across pre-deal, post-deal, and synergy/take-out engagements.
