Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Manager, Tech Operations to lead Intelligent Foundations & Experiences in Finance Tech in Chicago. You will guide IT service management, end-user support, and incident/change/problem management while driving automation and reliability initiatives.

You will build and monitor metrics, mentor teams, and collaborate with engineering and security to improve platform reliability and customer experiences at Capital One.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience managing IT projects or operations teams
• 6+ years of Technical Operations experience
• 3+ years of people management experience
• 6+ years of experience in IT systems and infrastructure
• 6+ years of experience with desktop platforms and operating systems
• 6+ years of experience in technical operations or end user technical support
• 4+ years of experience managing system monitoring and incident response processes
• 4+ years of experience leading automation initiatives or workflow improvements

Responsibilities

• An IT leader with a detailed understanding of IT service management principles.
• Manages teams providing technology support operations in end user support, incident, change, problem, knowledge, endpoint management, and business controls.
• Lead and develop teams to support business growth, service goals, and compliance with policies, standards and security regulations.
• Focus on execution, accountability, and results to improve end user experience while driving operational efficiencies.
• Strong communication and collaboration with peers and leadership.
• Develop metrics and dashboards to monitor service performance, availability, and user satisfaction.
• Oversee monitoring, incident response practices to ensure rapid issue detection and resolution.
• Partner with engineering and security teams to identify opportunities for automation and process optimization.
• Maintain documentation standards and knowledge management across teams and locations
