Job summary

McGough is seeking a Project Manager to lead complex construction initiatives across technology, life sciences, healthcare, higher education and corporate sectors. You will manage all project aspects, including financials, scheduling, risk, and communications, while mentoring junior staff.

The role emphasizes pursuit, preconstruction, and business development activities, quantity takeoffs, CPM scheduling, subcontractor management, and QA/QC process efficiency.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related degree.
• 4+ years of related experience in construction project management.
• Demonstrated ability to build partnerships with owners, design firms, and subcontractors.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Thorough and detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task within time constraints.
• Self-starter with minimal supervision and strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Pursuit, Preconstruction and Business Development: assist pursuit team with prospective projects, research clients, respond to RFQs/RFPs, participate in interviews and preconstruction meetings, drive QA/QC page turn process, align workforce goals with project plans.
• Self-Performed Work: quantity take-offs, estimate labor, materials and equipment, manage warehouse costs and CPM scheduling.
• Estimating and Bidding: update estimates through SDs/DDs/CDs, manage subcontractor bids, verify qualifications, procure subs, review results with owners/architects.
