Job summary

McGough Construction seeks a Senior Director, Technology & Life Sciences to lead enterprise preconstruction strategy for national growth in pharma, biotech, and regulated facilities. You will align pursuit strategy with regional offices, set cost benchmarks, and guide GMP cost modeling while building high‑performing teams.

The role emphasizes leadership across locations, client relationships, and delivery excellence from pursuit through execution in complex, regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 15+ years of general contracting experience.
• 7+ years in a senior estimating or preconstruction leadership role.
• Experience with complex, process-driven or regulated Technology & Life Sciences facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead national preconstruction strategy for Technology & Life Sciences sector.
• Partner with executive and regional leadership to identify targets and staffing.
• Coordinate with regional offices to align opportunities, staffing plans, and resources.
• Develop sector benchmarks, estimating protocols, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Provide executive guidance on delivery models, phasing, and constructability in regulated environments.
