Job summary

CSX is launching an 18-month Leadership Development Program designed to expose associates to CSX operations, business functions, and leadership. The Technology Leadership Development Associate role places LDAs with product and software engineering teams to discover opportunities and design high quality software.

The program begins in June 2027 (early start for graduates) with a structured orientation and career development.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree/4-year Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering or a related major field of study from an accredited institution
Equivalent Minimum Qualifications include High School Diploma/GED and IT specific certifications and 2+ years of experience in IT/Transportation/Intermodal Operations, IS, or IE
Knowledge of AI concepts and tools, cloud and low-code tech (Power Platform), Lean Six Sigma, and programming concepts (Angular/Java) applicable to business processes

Responsibilities

Adherence to secure systems practices
Root-cause analysis to iterate improvement and increase reliability and efficiency
Engagement across teams to ensure value delivery and shared understanding
