Job summary

CSX is seeking a Sales & Marketing – Leadership Development Associate (LDA) to interact with customers, address shipment questions, and advocate for customers within the organization. The program is an 18-month developmental track designed to expose associates to CSX operations, leadership, and business functions.

Participants will gain experience across customer service, field operations, and strategic initiatives as they prepare for elevated leadership roles.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required, GPA of at least 3.0 (based on a 4-point scale) overall.

Responsibilities

Respond to inbound inquiries from customers and interpret shipment records.
Document and coordinate resolution of service issues using Salesforce with cross-functional teams.
Provide timely information to customers on actions taken to resolve issues.
Communicate with customers regarding curfews, holiday plans, derailments, etc., proactively.
Review service metrics for key accounts and develop plans to address recurring issues.
Coordinate with Service Design, Customer Accounting, and Sales on issues affecting customers.
Perform miscellaneous activities as assigned by manager.
