Job summary

Staffing-Agency-Recruitment seeks an experienced Tech Lead with strong P&C Insurance and SQL expertise to guide development, production support, modernization, and delivery within a complex insurance environment. Qualifications

10+ years of IT experience, preferably in complex enterprise environments.
8+ years of hands-on SQL experience.
Strong P&C Insurance domain experience, preferably within Specialty Insurance.
Strong understanding of MGA operations and premium accounting.
Experience with invoicing, collections, bordereaux processing, reconciliation, and financial reporting.
Experience with legacy and modern Policy Administration platforms.
Strong understanding of insurance data structures, financial reconciliation, and reporting.
Experience with ETL and SSIS packages and workflow/automation development.
Experience with tools like Documaker, Rackley, InfoMaker, PowerBuilder, Retool, GoAnywhere, Redgate Tools, Git.
Experience in Agile environments and with Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, and ITIL processes.
Knowledge of modern architectures: Web, cloud services, SOA, microservices, containers, APIs, managed databases.

Responsibilities

Lead design, development, implementation, and support of enterprise applications.
Act as the primary technical contact for development and production support.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance existing applications and platforms.
Manage and support SQL databases across environments.
Analyze complex issues, assess risks, and develop mitigations.
Support legacy-system modernization, migration, and transformation initiatives.
Ensure data integrity and business continuity during migrations.
Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver quality solutions.
Mentor developers and establish strong technical practices.
Create and maintain technical documentation and support materials.
Implement configuration changes and enhancements.
Stay current with emerging technologies and trends.
