Job summary

Team Focus Insurance Group is seeking a Lead, Data Analytics to guide analytics strategy across underwriting, claims, distribution, and client experience. You will design models, build dashboards, and mentor analysts to deliver actionable insights at scale.

The role requires deep SQL and Python/R skills, experience with Power BI or Looker, and a proven ability to communicate complex analyses to senior leadership in a fast-paced INSURANCE environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in data analytics, BI or related role with 2+ years in a lead/senior capacity.
• Insurance, financial services, or healthcare industry preferred.
• Experience with agency management systems or policy data warehouses is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end analytics projects addressing strategic questions across underwriting, claims, distribution, and client experience.
• Develop advanced models, segmentation analyses, and predictive frameworks on large datasets.
• Define KPIs and metrics; work with data engineering to improve data quality and governance.
• Build executive dashboards and self-service reporting using Power BI/Looker; translate findings for leaders.
• Mentor junior analysts; collaborate with IT and analytics teams to align roadmaps.
