- 10+ years of IT experience, preferably in complex enterprise environments.
- 8+ years of hands-on SQL experience.
- Strong P&C Insurance domain experience, preferably within Specialty Insurance.
- Strong understanding of MGA operations and premium accounting.
- Experience with invoicing, collections, bordereaux processing, reconciliation, and financial reporting.
- Experience with legacy and modern Policy Administration platforms.
- Strong understanding of insurance data structures, financial reconciliation, and reporting.
- Experience with ETL and SSIS packages and workflow/automation development.
- Experience with tools like Documaker, Rackley, InfoMaker, PowerBuilder, Retool, GoAnywhere, Redgate Tools, Git.
- Experience in Agile environments and with Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, and ITIL processes.
- Knowledge of modern architectures: Web, cloud services, SOA, microservices, containers, APIs, managed databases.

About The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead with strong P&C Insurance and SQL expertise to lead application development, production support, modernization, and technical delivery within a complex insurance environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technology professional who combines hands-on SQL expertise with strong insurance domain knowledge, particularly within MGA operations, specialty insurance, premium accounting, and policy administration systems.
You will work closely with business stakeholders, Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and Quality Engineering teams to translate business requirements into reliable technical solutions while providing technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
What You'll Do
- Lead the design, development, implementation, and support of enterprise applications.
