  • Collaborate with business stakeholders across underwriting, compensation, and actuarial departments to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews and design evaluations to ensure code quality, performance, and compliance with standards.
  • Identify and resolve complex technical issues, escalating when necessary to senior leadership or vendor support.
  • Recommend enhancements to existing systems or processes to improve efficiency and product quality.

  • Work on system integrations using RESTful APIs and data exchange frameworks with internal and third-party platforms.
  • Ensure development practices adhere to data security and insurance industry compliance requirements.
  • Support architecture planning and proof-of-concept initiatives for new technology solutions.
  • Prepare and maintain technical specifications, design documentation, and user guides.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Extensive hands-on experience with C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and full stack development.
  • Familiarity with Angular, React, or other modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server, REST APIs, and cloud-based tools (Azure preferred).
  • Prior experience working in the insurance industry, particularly on systems like Agent Compensation or Policy Administration.
  • Experience in regulated environments with a focus on security, compliance, and audit-readiness.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional Agile development teams.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tooling, and automated testing strategies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with both technical teams and business users.

This opportunity is perfect for a technically strong, hands-on leader who thrives in enterprise-scale projects and enjoys mentoring teams while contributing to critical insurance systems.

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future need for visa sponsorship.
