Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC seeks a Tech Lead to own the architecture, integrations, and technical direction for connecting our platform with external backend gaming service providers. You will guide a team delivering high-impact features that unify services.

In this role, you will shape APIs and integrations, drive scalable, secure data flows, mentor engineers, and promote best practices in architecture.

Qualifications

Deep understanding of game backend systems and services (identity, entitlements, inventory, progression, matchmaking).
Experience designing integrations between large-scale platforms or distributed systems.
Experience in SDK/API design and microservices architectures.
Familiar with cloud-native environments, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
Excellent communication and cross-team leadership.

Responsibilities

Lead technical strategy and architecture for integrations with third-party backend gaming service providers.
Design robust, scalable solutions that connect external game backend services with the company’s ecosystem.
Act as the principal subject-matter expert on backend gaming systems, including identity, inventory, entitlements, progression, matchmaking, and social features.
Collaborate with external provider teams and internal product/engineering groups to align APIs, workflows, and use cases.
Ensure secure, reliable, and efficient data flows across all integration surfaces.
Mentor engineers, lead code reviews, and promote best practices in software architecture.
Improve observability, monitoring, and deployment stability across integrated systems.
