Job summary

Berkley One is seeking a Technology Lead, Digital Experience & Enterprise Services to drive the technology vision for Digital Engagement, CRM, Customer Experience, and Enterprise Services. This role leads the development of modern customer and agent-facing solutions.

Based in a hybrid office with locations in CT, NJ, DE, IL, you will influence enterprise strategy and collaborate with cross-functional teams while mentoring engineers and setting development standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years in Technology Lead/Lead Engineer/Solution Architect or similar role.
• Proven success delivering enterprise-scale software solutions.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience leading enterprise-scale software development and architecture.
• Strong background with Java, Spring Boot, APIs, Microservices, React, and TypeScript.
• Experience with Azure or AWS, Kubernetes, DevOps, and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of scalable, cloud-native solutions.
• Drive digital experiences across web, mobile, CRM, and self-service platforms.
• Partner with business leaders to translate strategy into technology outcomes.
• Champion secure-by-design engineering practices and modernization initiatives.
• Identify and implement Generative AI solutions to improve CX and efficiency.
• Guide engineering teams and establish best-in-class development standards.
