Job summary

Berkley One is seeking a Technology Lead, Digital Experience & Enterprise Services to shape the technology vision and delivery for Digital Engagement, CRM, Customer Experience, and Enterprise Services platforms. You will lead the development of innovative customer and agent-facing solutions from a hands-on leadership role.

Based in one of several offices (West Hartford, Morristown, Wilmington, Chicago) with a hybrid schedule (4 days in office, 1 remote).

Qualifications

What you need to have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years in a Technology Lead, Lead Engineer, Solution Architect, or similar leadership role.
• Proven success designing and delivering enterprise-scale software solutions.
• Strong ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven experience leading enterprise-scale software development and architecture.
• Strong background with Java, Spring Boot, APIs, Microservices, React, and TypeScript.
• Experience with Azure or AWS, Kubernetes, DevOps, and CI/CD.

What makes you stand out:

• Knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, and AI-enabled development tools.
• Ability to collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Insurance or financial services experience is highly valued.

• Base Salary Range: $140,000 - $165,000
• Eligible to participate in annual discretionary bonus.
• Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, Wellness, Paid Time Off, 401(k) and Profit-Sharing plans.

The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
