Erias Ventures, LLC in Columbia, MD seeks a highly experienced DevOps Engineer to join our fast-paced development team. You will work with Kubernetes and container orchestration, Terraform/Ansible, AWS (EKS, EC2, S3) and Python/Bash scripting to deploy scalable infrastructure for mission-critical applications onsite in Columbia, MD.

The role requires nine plus years in DevOps or software development, a DoD 8140/8570 certification, and a TS/SCI with CI Polygraph; citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Nine plus (9+) years of experience in DevOps Engineering or Software Development and a Bachelor’s in related field; or seven (7) years with a Master’s in related field; or thirteen (13) years with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms.
• Experience with AWS services (EKS, EC2, EBS, S3, Lambda) and deployment/management of infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Support development and deployment of cloud infrastructure in AWS, especially EKS.
• Support development and deployment of non-cloud (Edge) infrastructure of on-premise and portable equipment.
• Automate deployment processes and ensure reliability and scalability of services.
• Manage and maintain Kubernetes containers and cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate applications into the infrastructure.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems and resolve issues.
