Job summary

Erias Ventures, LLC is seeking a highly motivated DevOps Engineer to join our Ft. Belvoir team. You will manage cloud and edge infrastructure, automate deployments, and ensure reliability across Kubernetes and AWS environments.

The candidate should have 9+ years in DevOps or software development, with DoD 8140/8570 certifications or the ability to obtain them within a few months. On-site work five days a week in Ft. Belvoir, VA, with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• 9+ years in DevOps or software development with related degree, or 7+ years with a masters.
• DoD 8140/8570 compliant or able to obtain within months.
• Strong Kubernetes knowledge and AWS with EKS, EC2, S3, Lambda.
• Proficient in Terraform and Ansible; Linux admin expertise.

Responsibilities

• Support cloud infra in AWS, especially EKS, and on-prem/offline edge infra.
• Automate deployments; ensure reliability, scalability, and monitoring.
• Maintain Kubernetes containers and cloud infra; collaborate with teams.
• Troubleshoot production systems; improve processes for high availability.
• Stay current with tech trends and assist with on-site customer support.
