Erias Ventures, LLC in Fort Meade, MD is seeking a highly experienced DevOps Engineer to join our fast-paced development team. The role focuses on Kubernetes, CI/CD, AWS, Linux, scripting in Python/Bash, and scalable infrastructure across cloud and edge environments.

The successful candidate will mentor junior engineers, lead automation efforts, and ensure high availability while collaborating with cross-functional teams under a TS/SCI clearance requirement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps Engineering or software development; or 3+ years with a Master's in a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Proficient in Terraform and Ansible for configuration management.
• Experience deploying on AWS (EKS, EC2, S3, Lambda).
• Programming in Python, Bash, or Go; Git and Flux experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy cloud infrastructure in AWS (EKS) and on-prem/edge environments.
• Automate deployment processes to ensure reliability and scalability.
• Maintain Kubernetes containers and cloud infrastructure; monitor production systems.
• Collaborate with developers to integrate applications into infra.
• Mentor engineers and lead teams on engineering initiatives.
• Ensure high availability and performance; troubleshoot complex issues.
