Erias Ventures in Columbia, MD is seeking a highly experienced DevOps Engineer to join our fast-paced development team. The ideal candidate will have strong Kubernetes knowledge, CI/CD expertise, and a background in big data solutions, with a hybrid work model averaging 1–2 days per week in our Columbia office. The role requires active Secret U.S.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Linux system administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with AWS services (EC2, EBS, S3, Lambda) and deploying infrastructure.
• Experience with application and OS deployment, scaling, and management.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go; scripting and automation.
• Familiarity with Git, Flux, and other development tools.
• Comfortable in a terminal-based environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Understanding of AGILE methodologies and standard tool suites.
• DoD 8140 / 8570 compliance certifications (Security+) or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment, 1–2 days/week at Columbia, MD office.
