Job summary

Erias Ventures, LLC seeks an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our fast-paced team in San Antonio, TX. You will drive infrastructure as code, automate deployments, and ensure reliability across on-premise and AWS cloud environments, including EKS-based workloads.

The role requires TS/SCI considerations and hands-on leadership in a growth-focused company. The ideal candidate has 9+ years in DevOps or related fields, strong Kubernetes and AWS experience, and proficiency with Terraform, Ansible,

Qualifications

• Minimum 9+ years in DevOps or Software Development with a related degree; or 7+ years with a Masters; or extensive experience with equivalent credentials.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and AWS services (EKS, EC2, EBS, S3, Lambda) and practical deployment experience.
• Proficient in Terraform and Ansible for configuration management and automation.
• Experience with Python, Bash, or Go; comfortable in a terminal-based environment.
• Excellent communication skills; able to lead teams and mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Implement infrastructure and automate deployment processes for cloud and edge environments.
• Ensure monitoring, reliability, and scalability of services across Kubernetes and AWS.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate applications into the infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot production systems and drive continuous improvement.
• Mentor teammates and contribute to team leadership.
