Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience and technical authority for a significant product area.
• Strong backend fundamentals: distributed systems, event-driven architecture, API design.
• Experience reviewing code across full stack and working with Product Owners.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical architecture for the squad's domain, including API contracts and data models.
• Enforce engineering standards: GitHub, PR reviews, OpenAPI docs, runbooks, secrets management.
• Own the squad's release process and Definition of Done; sign off on all shipped work.
