CLA is seeking a Controller with Technology Industry experience to support our Client Accounting & Advisory Services practice. The role emphasizes building strong internal controls, financial planning, and strategic advisory to client organizations.

You will lead the preparation of financial statements, monitor KPIs, and coordinate with boards and stakeholders, leveraging Back-office accounting expertise and industry knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; combination of related experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree.
• CPA certification is preferred but not required.
• 7 years relevant work experience as a Controller or equivalent is required.
• Accounting back-office experience required.
• Technology industry experience preferred; public accounting experience also acceptable.

Responsabilités

• Develop knowledge of GAAP (FASB/SFAS) and financial and operational aspects of technology industry.
• Develop internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures for budgeting, cash and credit management, and accounting.
• Coordinate and direct financial planning, budgeting, procurements, or investments for all or part of an organization.
• Prepare financial information and statements, business activity reports, and KPI.
• Advise management on financial objectives, policies, and actions; prepare board presentations as needed.
• Communicate with boards, bankers, investors, and other stakeholders.
