Job summary

CLA is seeking a Controller with Technology Industry experience to join our Client Accounting & Advisory Services (CAAS) practice in Raleigh, NC. You will lead financial reporting and internal controls, partnering with client leadership to mitigate risk and drive growth.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree, 7 years of relevant experience, CPA preferred, and strong expertise in GAAP, budgeting, and accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Intacct.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; CPA preferred but not required.
• 7 years relevant work experience as a Controller or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep knowledge of GAAP (FASB/SFAS) and tech industry financials.
• Establish internal control policies and procedures for budgeting, cash and credit management, and accounting.
• Direct financial planning, budgeting, procurements, or investment activities for the organization.
• Prepare financial information and statements for regulatory reporting.
• Advise management on short- and long-term financial objectives and actions.
• Communicate with boards, bankers, and investors as required.
