Job summary

Withum's Tax Services Group is seeking a Founders & Tech Executive Tax Manager to lead engagements, mentor staff, and build client relationships across our California offices in Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, and Orange County, as well as select East Coast locations.

You will supervise engagements, identify planning opportunities, and collaborate with senior CPAs and industry leaders to deliver strategic tax solutions for a diverse client base.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
• CPA license, JD or Masters of Science in Taxation required.
• At least 5 years of experience in a public accounting tax department with leadership of multiple engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of tax engagements and supervise staff.
• Mentor and develop staff and maintain client relationships.
• Identify and implement tax planning opportunities for diverse clients.
• Research and draft memoranda on complex tax matters.
• Oversee multiple engagements concurrently across teams to meet deadlines.
• Engage in professional development programs as an instructor or discussion leader.
