Job summary

WithumSmith+Brown PC in multiple coastal/CA offices seeks a Founders & Tech Executive Tax Supervisor to lead tax engagements and mentor staff. You will oversee planning, execution, and client relationships for complex tax matters affecting founders and technology executives.

Candidates should have a CPA or be pursuing licensure, with 4+ years in public accounting, and strong communication skills. California, New Jersey, and NYC ranges are provided by the firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• Licensed CPA or working toward CPA certification.
• Prefer MS in Taxation but not required.
• Minimum 4 years of public accounting experience.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation/review of complex high-net-worth, fiduciary, gift and estate tax returns.
• Conduct advanced tax research and draft technical memoranda.
• Design and implement tax planning strategies for founders and tech executives.
• Manage client relationships with proactive communication and trust.
• Mentor and supervise staff, fostering development and teamwork.
• Collaborate with partners on engagements, thought leadership, and BD.
