Job summary

Withum is seeking a Founders & Tech Executive Tax Manager to lead tax engagements across individuals, partnerships, and corporations in a hybrid role based in our West Coast/Northeast offices. You will supervise staff, build client relationships, and drive strategic tax planning in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll research complex tax matters, identify planning opportunities, and oversee projects for a diverse client base while collaborating with experienced CPAs and industry leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• CPA license or JD/MS in Taxation required
• 5+ years in public accounting tax with leading engagements
• Excellent analytical and client service skills
• Ability to travel as needed

Responsibilities

• Review tax returns prepared by staff and seniors for accuracy
• Research and draft memos on complex tax matters
• Identify and implement tax planning opportunities
• Handle and resolve tax controversies
• Oversee tax research projects for diverse clients and industries
• Manage multiple engagements with various teams to meet deadlines
• Provide guidance and mentoring to staff on evaluations and development
