Prospect Rock Partners in New York City is seeking an exceptional technology M&A associate to join our high-performing team. The role focuses on marquee Consumer/Retail M&A transactions with senior dealmakers in a merit-based culture, offering direct client exposure and clear path to advancement.

The position requires 2–4 years of M&A experience, strong modeling and presentation skills, and the ability to start immediately. On-site work in NYC with top-tier base compensation and bonus potential.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of M&A investment banking experience with a focus on Consumer/Retail
• Experience supporting 2+ closed Consumer/Retail M&A transactions
• Strong Consumer/Retail proficiency in financial modeling, valuation, and deal structuring

Responsabilités

• Support execution of complex technology M&A transactions from origination through close
• Manage deal workflow including financial modeling, due diligence, and transaction documentation
• Conduct strategic and financial analysis to support client advisory services
• Prepare marketing materials, management presentations, and Board-level presentations
• Coordinate with legal, accounting, and other transaction advisors
