Job summary

Prospect Rock Partners in New York is seeking an experienced Associate to join its M&A team. You will participate in design, origination, structuring, and execution of transactions, while contributing to pitch materials for clients.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred) and a minimum of 3 years in investment banking or corporate finance with M&A exposure. US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of investment banking, corporate finance, and M&A experience
• Strong knowledge of corporate finance, securities, financial markets, and risk & pricing analysis
• M&A investment banking experience a strong plus
• Aptitude to synthesize large amounts of information and develop innovative ideas and solutions
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Proficiency with FactSet, CapitalIQ, Bloomberg, and Microsoft Office
• Series 79 & 63 licensing required

Responsibilities

• Conduct quantitative research and analysis for transactions.
• Draft pitch books and deal materials for clients.
• Build financial models: DCF, comps, precedent transactions, LBO.
• Support due diligence and execution of M&A deals.
• Develop client presentations and strengthen client relationships.
