Prospect Rock Partners in New York City is seeking an exceptional technology M&A Associate to join a high-performing team. You will work on marquee technology transactions across software, data & analytics, and tech-enabled services, collaborating with top dealmakers in a merit-driven culture.

The role offers visibility to C-suite and boards, a clear path to Associate 3 and VP, and a compensation package comprising a strong base salary plus bonus. Start date flexible for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of M&A experience with a technology focus.
• Experience supporting 2+ technology M&A transactions.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and deal structuring skills.
• Exceptional analytical capabilities and attention to detail.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; immediate start preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support execution of complex technology M&A transactions from origination through close.
• Manage deal workflow including financial modeling, due diligence, and documentation.
• Conduct strategic and financial analysis to support client advisory services.
• Prepare marketing materials, management presentations, and Board-level materials.
• Coordinate with legal, accounting, and other transaction advisors.
