Job summary

Secretariat seeks an Associate for the Technology Disputes team in the US to focus on coding review. You will analyze code across languages, contribute to memos and expert reports, and help prepare witnesses for hearings in complex tech disputes.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in software development or code review, a BS in CS/Engineering, and the ability to read C++, C#, Java, Python, SQL, and HTML. This role requires US work authorization and may involve travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years of software development experience with code review preferred.
• Ability to read and explain code in C++, C#, Java, Python, SQL, HTML, etc

Responsibilities

• Conduct code review and analysis of existing software.
• Explain code languages and determine task(s) the code performs.
• Prepare memos and expert reports detailing findings in plain English.
• Prepare rebuttal expert reports evaluating other experts' conclusions.
• Communicate with clients and counsel.
• Prepare testifying experts for hearings, trials, and mediations.
• Manage day-to-day requirements of multiple engagements
