The role demands collaboration with operations, active client engagement, and responsibility for the proposal lifecycle, from strategy to close, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of outside sales/business development experience in the industrial integration and technology business.
• Strong relationships with technology suppliers and partner ecosystems.
• Knowledge of OT/IT convergence and open process automation concepts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable interacting across organizations.
• Willingness and ability to travel offsite as required.

Responsibilities

• Achieve the divisional target sales plan.
• Contribute to technical strategy and align services with target clients.
• Represent EDG Technology and Automation in business development activities.
• Prospect aggressively for new opportunities in line with plans.
• Lead and coordinate proposal development for accounts and opportunities.
• Support commercialization reviews with operations and clients.
• Promote EDG’s branding and core values in all interactions.
• Manage key client relationships and act as sponsor on projects.
• Coordinate marketing initiatives and client engagements.
