Job summary

WithumSmith+Brown, PC is seeking a Tech Audit Supervisor to lead engagements from planning to completion for technology clients. You will mentor staff and manage multiple engagements, ensuring high-quality deliverables and strong client service in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting with a CPA license, at least 3 years in public accounting leading engagements, and solid proficiency in US GAAP. NYC or East Brunswick presence is expected, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Accounting and CPA license required.
• At least 3 years public accounting with leading multiple engagements and supervising staff.
• Strong audit experience with technology clients and solid knowledge of US GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement teams on planning and execution of audit, review or compilation engagements.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the audit engagement including staffing, planning, risk assessment and financial reporting.
• Provide supervision to engagement staff and promote communication with the engagement partner.
• Collaborate with seniors, supervisors and partners to resolve client issues and advise on regulatory and accounting matters.
• Manage multiple engagements concurrently to meet client deadlines.
• Create and monitor engagement budgets to identify inefficiencies.
• Guide team members through evaluations and professional development discussions.
• Deliver training as an instructor or discussion leader.
