Boyd Company is seeking motivated individuals for a Student Technician Apprentice program. The role provides classroom training, online courses, and on-the-job experience with rotation through the Louisville Training Center and a paid internship after four weeks of instruction. The program aims to progress to Apprentice Technician and beyond.

Compensation is up to $24.00 per hour. The program emphasizes safety, teamwork, and building skills toward Shop Technician I or Field Technician status

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Possess and maintain a current, valid state driver's license.
• Must be able to pass drug screen and background check.
• Willingness to learn and be trained.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, and written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to communicate with team members and customers.
• Good working knowledge of computers, spreadsheets, word processing programs.
• Highly self-directed.
• Dependable and punctual.
• Attend and participate in all meetings, trainings, and activities as required.
• Safety compliance and proper PPE usage.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds occasionally.

• Work with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical schematics and test equipment.
