TAG Solutions Llc in Albany, NY is seeking a Technology Alignment Manager to bridge technical assessment and pre-sales, ensuring solutions are properly designed and scoped. The TAM conducts regular onsite assessments and equips the vCIO with findings to develop IT strategies and roadmaps.

The role leads Pre-Sales and Design Desk duties, including solution design, vendor quoting, technical scoping, and creating Scope of Work documents for smooth handoffs to implementation teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant study.
• 5-7 years hands-on technical experience in MSP/VAR/B2B IT services with pre-sales exposure.
• Experience in a service organization operating in a B2B model.
• Experience supporting pre-sales quote requests, solution design, and technical scoping.
• Experience working with vendors and distributors to design solutions and obtain pricing/lead times.
• Ability to translate technical designs into SOW documents.
• Strong knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and risk management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passionate about helping people.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular onsite technical assessments of customer environments.
• Identify misalignment with TAG Solutions standards and document findings.
• Complete technical alignment reviews for onboarding.
• Communicate technical risks and dependencies prior to sale.
• Provide remediation for high-priority risks identified during assessments.
• Maintain current client documentation.
• Share findings with the vCIO to support IT planning.
