Job summary

Potbelly Sandwich Works is hiring friendly, outgoing associates to provide fast, friendly service in a busy, welcoming setting. You’ll help customers enjoy lunch by preparing sandwiches, salads, soups and treats, operating the register, and keeping work stations clean and safe.

Requirements include a customer-first mindset, good communication skills, and the ability to stand for long periods. Flexible schedules and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Friendly, customer-first mindset with ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work multiple stations (load, dress, shakes, cash, prep, front) as directed by a Shift Leader or Manager.
• Comply with health and safety standards for food, cleanliness and safety.
• Restock food line, chips and cooler.
• Prepare quality finished products (sandwiches, salads, soups, cookies, ice cream) efficiently.
• Operate cash register: handle, balance and follow cash handling procedures.
• Take delivery/catering/pickup orders over the phone.
• Other duties as assigned.
