Responsibilities:

• Engage with customers in a friendlyand approachable manner,creating a positiveand welcoming atmosphere.
• Offer tailored recommendations based on customerpreferences or popularitems.
• Greets customers in a courteous and friendly manner,takes orders, providesinformation about menus, and looks for opportunities to up-sellproducts.
• Operates the cash register and receives paymentfrom customers by credit card or cash, accurately counts and provideschange to customersas required, and follows customer service guidelines and cashhandling policies and procedures.
• Inputs orders into the register at the point-of-sale in a timely manner to ensure total guest satisfaction and creates areceipt for each guest.
• Assists in locating, reconciling, and verifying the accuracy of transactions and operatingequipment with peripheral electronic data processing.
• Transfers supplies and equipment betweenstorage and work areas by hand or cart.
• Makes and/orpresents drinks using standard ingredient(s)/recipes, practicing prudent portion control.
• Assists with a variety of kitchen-related functions as needed, includingbaking.
• Maintains accountability for all food and beveragesbeing served
• Maintains proper and adequate set-upof the location daily. This includes requisitioning, stocking, and rotating allproducts as needed.
• Receives inventory, moves and lifts food and beverage productsand supplies; maintains a solid knowledge of productand service availability.
• Ensures properfood handling procedures are followed, includingwrapping, labeling, dating,stocking, storing, rotating, and checking product is maintained at required temperatures.
• Follows all opening,closing, and standardoperating procedures.
• Performs detaileddaily inventory as per opening/closing.
• Responds to guest complaints in a positiveand tactful manner,negotiates a compromise, andimplements solutions.
• Cleans and sanitizesworkstation and equipment.
• Stores and locks up all beverages, food, and other equipment items.
• Deposits cash drop into the safe box in the Manager’s office.
• Actively participates in all team member meetings

Prior Experience:

• H.S. Diploma orequivalent.
• Cashier experience in a food and beverageenvironment is highly desirable.
• Basic knowledge of food and beveragepreparation and service.
• Ability to read, speakand understand the English languageto communicate with guestsand take orders.

Work Environment & Requirements:

This role requires prolonged standing while helpingguests, reaching for product, and graspingbeverage & empanadas. You must be able to carry 30 lbs.
