Job summary

Half Moon Empanadas in Minneapolis–St. Paul International Airport is seeking a Store Manager to lead operations, people and P&L. You will recruit, train and coaching staff, manage schedules, inventory and labor costs while delivering fast, friendly service to travelers.

You'll drive quality food, safety and guest satisfaction, launch new menu items and monitor budgets, payroll and vendor orders in a busy airport setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service, restaurant or retail with team supervision.
• Strong business math, budgets and P&L awareness.
• Clear English communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

Now we're growing at our St PaulInternational Airport location, and we're looking for a Store Managerto lead it.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Lead and develop your team

• Lead,train, coach and develop team members and Team Leads so the store runs smoothlyon every shift.
• Build theschedule and set work assignments, adjusting them to business needs.
• Runpre-shift huddles and monthly team meetings to share updates, recognize winsand drive improvements.
• Handleand resolve team member issues with fairness, tact and respect.

Deliver a great guest experience

• Reviewguest feedback regularly and adjust operations to meet demand.
• Resolvefood quality and service concerns directly with guests, turning issues intopositive experiences.
• Helplaunch and promote new menus at your location.

Run the business

• Managefood, beverage and labor costs against the store budget to hit revenue andexpense targets.
• Read andact on budgets and P&L statements, and set par levels based on businessneeds.
• Orderproducts, run weekly and monthly inventories, and submit and review biweeklypayroll.

Food quality and safety

• Walk thestore daily, check temperatures, appearance and taste, and coach the team onany corrections.
• Inspectdeliveries for quality and safety and make sure products are staged and rotated(FIFO).
• Keep asafe environment for guests and team, in line with health regulations and alllocal, state and federal laws.

Store operations and controls

• Auditshift systems and procedures, including daily bank counts and weekly QA audits.
• Keepequipment in good shape with preventive maintenance, and make sure all policiesand procedures are followed.

Airport safety and security

• Alwaysfollow TSA and airport security protocols, and make sure your whole team doestoo.

WHAT YOU BRING

• 2–4 yearsof food-service, restaurant or retail experience, including supervising a team.
• Solidbusiness math: percentages, budgets and P&L statements.
• Stronganalytical and problem-solving skills, with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Clearcommunication in English, spoken and written, with patience and tact. Spanishor Portuguese is a plus.
• Calmunder pressure, able to set priorities and work independently with minimalsupervision.
• Abilityto build strong working relationships with partners across the company.
• Highschool diploma or equivalent. Restaurant365 experience is a plus.
• Flexibilityto work early mornings, weekends and holidays as the business needs.
• Able topass the background screening and badging required by the airport authority andfederal regulations.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This is a full-time, salaried (exempt) role that typicallyworks about 50 hours a week. It requires standing for long periods, and youmust be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs. You'll work inside a busy airportterminal and pass through security screening each shift.
