Job summary

Panera LLC is looking for a Team Manager in Indianapolis, IN to lead and develop team members while ensuring exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate has prior restaurant management experience and excellent leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every guest is delighted by the quality of our food, service, and staff.
• Build engaging relationships that lead to long‑term, loyal guests.
• Lead, manage, and develop team members by coaching, inspiring, and motivating them to exceed goals in sales, speed, order accuracy, and guest experience, and celebrate their achievements.
• Participate in the interviewing and selection process.
• Train the team in food safety standards and ensure they are maintained.
• Help build our culture of warmth, belonging, growth, and trust.

Qualifications

• Minimum age: 18 years.
• 1+ year(s) of restaurant management experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead great shifts while directing, motivating, coaching, and developing others in a fast‑paced environment.
• ServSafe certification (or ability to achieve certification).
• Flexible hours including nights and weekends in a fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Background check required; any job offer is conditional upon results.

While performing this job, the Team Manager role is regularly required to:

• Lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 25 pounds.
• Stand and walk for up to 6 hours.
• Communicate clearly and quickly understand guests and associates’ directions in a loud environment.
