Panera LLC in Richmond, VA is seeking a Team Manager to help run great shifts, support team development, and uphold guest experience standards.

You’ll lead a fast-paced bakery-cafe team, coach staff, participate in hiring, and champion food safety, warmth, and trust throughout daily operations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• 1+ years in restaurant management preferred.
• Proven ability to lead shifts, motivate, coach and develop teams in fast-paced settings.
• ServSafe certification or ability to obtain.
• Flexible hours including nights and weekends in a high-volume environment.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Stand/walk for up to 6 hours.
• Ability to communicate clearly in a loud environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every guest experiences high-quality food, service, and staff.
• Build relationships that foster long-term, loyal guests.
• Lead, manage and develop team members to exceed sales, speed, order accuracy, and guest experience targets; celebrate successes.
• Participate in interviewing and selection of staff.
• Train the team on food safety standards and ensure ongoing compliance.

As a Team Manager, you’ll be part of the bakery-cafe’s leadership team, helping to run great shifts, support team development, and maintain the high standards our guests expect.

• Ability to lift, carry, push or pull objects up to 25 pounds.
• Capability to stand and walk for up to 6 hours.
• Must be able to clearly communicate and quickly understand guests and associates’ directions in a loud environment.
