Job summary

CAVA is hiring Team Leaders to guide daily restaurant operations, mentoring Team Members and coordinating with managers to ensure the highest guest experience. You will lead service, support training, and help uphold food safety standards in a fast-paced Mediterranean restaurant setting.

You will work with a collaborative team on opening/closing duties, inventory, orders, and ensuring a positive atmosphere for guests and staff.

Qualifications

• Coach, develop, and support the cross training of Team Members as our business continues to grow
• Support the overall restaurant experience and execute key duties including opening and closing the restaurant, placing food orders, conducting inventory, and cash handling as needed
• Support food safety initiatives and ensure that other Team Members follow proper food safety practices and cleanliness standards
• Model sound decision making and help resolve issues that may arise

Responsibilities

• Open and close the restaurant and ensure timely service
• Place food orders and conduct inventory checks
• Assist with cash handling and POS procedures
• Train, mentor, and develop Team Members on shift
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards during service
• Promote a positive work environment and guest experience
