Job summary

The Escape Game in San Diego is seeking a Team Leader to deliver world-class hospitality, anticipate guests' needs, and do whatever it takes to make their day. You will embody our mission and lead a team of 4–15 during shifts in Gaslamp Quarter.

The ideal TL is flexible, creative, and positive in a fast-paced environment, able to manage opening/closing, start times, breaks, and minor game repairs while keeping guests engaged and ensuring a five-star experience.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of leadership experience in a guest-facing setting preferred.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to perform physical tasks: deep cleaning, painting, standing, crawling, bending, lifting 30–40 lbs, minor game repairs.
• Able to stand for long periods (about 75-80% of shift).
• Adheres to Uniform Standards.

• Ensure operational excellence on shift: opening/closing, ensuring games start on time, facilitating breaks, coaching using Continuous, Gracious Pressure, and addressing maintenance needs.

REQUIREMENTS

• Demonstrated leadership ability with 1-2 years of experience in a guest-facing setting preferred.
• Flexible availability. This role often works nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Must be able to handle physical activity as it relates to the job, such as deep cleaning, painting, standing, crawling, bending, lifting 30-40 lbs, and minor game repairs.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time (about 75-80% of your shift).
