Job Summary

The Team Leader coordinates the daily production and meal service in the Department of Food and Nutrition. This includes supervising and instructing personnel in the department, acting as a coordinator for the patient and patient's family, inventorying, ordering daily food supplies, and receiving food orders. These duties are carried out in a competent, confidential, and professional manner.

Minimum Education/License/Certification Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in hospital food preparation preferred.
  • Related experience in supervisory position preferred.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Additional languages preferred.
  • The position does not require license, certification, or registration; however, completion of a Dietary Managers Course is encouraged.
