What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Utilize consultative sales skills to provide personalized travel recommendations and become a dedicated travel planner for clients
- Manage incoming leads and sales calls effectively, with no cold calling involved
- Follow up with past guests to secure new cruise and land vacation bookings
- Assist booked clients with additional travel arrangements, including air, insurance, and excursions
- Utilize Salesforce for client relationship management, tracking sales, and communication
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 3 years of recent experience selling cruises and/or travel products
- Experience in a team sales environment
- Proficiency in working with cruise line booking engines
- Computer proficiency, including word processing and web browsing
- Experience with CRM systems to document daily calls, tasks, and activities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required
- A history of exceeding sales quotas and being a top performer
- Ability to work occasional evenings and weekend days
